Mariana is a Portuguese artist with a background in Law, whose passion for colours, movement, and sensations led her to explore a unique creative trajectory. From a young age, she found inspiration in abstract works, those capable of conveying deep emotions without resorting to recognisable forms to communicate.
 

Currently, as an abstract expressionist artist, she dedicates herself to exploring these sensations through layers of paint and varied textures, creating works that capture the movement and emotion of specific moments in her life.
 

By working with the canvas on the floor, she allows her creative process to flow intuitively, letting the layers of paint interact with the fabric in unexpected ways. The result is simultaneously bold and delicate, vibrant and contemplative, reflecting her style.
 

With a palette and method in constant evolution, the artist challenges herself to experiment with new forms of expression through technique.
